How Much Web traffic is required to make a good income from a website?
Many Internet Entrepreneurs ask me this question. Well, it really depends on several factors. Such as CTR (Click Through Rates), Type of Website’s Business model (Advertising, e-Commerce, etc …), Quality of web traffic, Number or Unique Visitors per Day, Number of Page views and many other factors.
According to many bloggers and me, Minimum of 500 Visitors a day (That is roughly 15,000 visitors a month) is required to make fairly average income from a website every month. However, this is also depends on the quality of web traffic. And the type of income you are going for.
If the web traffic is not buyer traffic then your website will not make good Income.
Another factor is the Niche your website is operating with and what you are selling through your website … also how big the market for that product or service is worldwide? If you are selling something that is related to Classical Music, then obviously the market is too small and thus your website will make less money. But if you are focusing on Get rich crowd, then the market is very huge and you can sell literally anything in this market.
My advice to new Entrepreneurs is this – focus only on building quality web traffic to your website/blog. This will take at least a year and sometimes more. Don’t think of making money during the first year of your Internet Business.
For a first year, simply develop a Brand Value of your Business. Once you obtain a good Brand Value, the web traffic will automatically follow you and you will definitely make money.

good site can earn more with 200 uu if it sell something what users would buy than poor site with 1000uu and ads in menu…
Very creative idea
Thanks guys, it's true that ads can definitely bump up the revenue of your site. I have few text links on here that people pay hundreds of dollars to be linked to (on articles that receive a lot of traffic).
