So are you sick of living life in a “less than” way? Having less than you want? Less than you dreamed of? Less than you deserve? Are you finally ready to do something about it? Are you ready to change? I doubt it. “What? How can you be so cruel? How can you say you doubt that I am ready to change?” Easy. We hear that all the time. You have probably said it all before as well. How many of you are ready to be more successful in the future than you ever were in the past? How many of you are ready to make more money in the future than you ever did in the past? How many of you are ready to have more fun in the future than you ever did in the past?” I’m sure you’re thinking to yourself “You bet!” at the end of each question. Every one eagerly does. How many of those people do you think really become more successful, make more money, or have more fun? I doubt if very many of them do.
READY
Here is how I look at that statement: Everyone is ready. Or at least they think they are, or say they are. That is why they all say “You bet!” And I actually think when people say they are ready, they are.
ABLE
How many are able? Everyone. Seriously. No matter what you face; whether it is a mental, financial, or physical liability, you are still able to do more. Even if it is just a little bit more. The great news is that when you do a little more, your results can increase by a LOT more. So, if everyone really is ready to do better and to have more. Then everyone really is able to do more and become more, then what is the problem?
WILLING
Willing. Is everyone willing to become more or to do more in order to have what they want in life? The answer is a screaming NO! And that is the problem. People are not willing to put in the hours or expend the effort to change. The world really is not made up of the “have’s” and the “have-not’s.” It is made up of the “will’s” and the “will-not’s.” Again, the question is never, “Can someone do better?” Of course they can. And it is never, “Are they able to do better?” Of course they are able. The question is always, “Will they do better?” Sorry, but most just will not. Not because they cannot and not because they are not able, but simply because they are not willing. See how simple it is? You have probably been asking yourself for a good long time why your life is not better. Now you have the answer. The answer is that you are not willing to do what it takes for your life to be better. “That doesn’t sound very fair.” Of course it does. It is perfectly fair. Your life is the way it is because YOU have not been willing to do what it takes to make it different. Period. Case closed. And sadly, it is not that you have not wanted it to be better. Want has little to do with it. You can desperately want success and never achieve it. You can want to be rich and never make any money. You can want to lose weight and only get fatter. Want only matters if you want enough to be willing to do whatever it takes to achieve the desired result!
