Twitter has been down all morning … off and on … mostly off.
That being said, the twitter team is working on getting the situation settled.
This is what they said from their blog:
We are experiencing site availability issues — additional latency and errors — this morning. We’re working to address these issues.
I use twitter a lot, for personal use and marketing, as I am sure a lot of you do as well. It is very incontinent for it to be down for long periods of time.
Twitter will always be getting tens of thousands of new users daily … so there must be a solution for this … cause our TIME MATTERS.
Update: We’re still investigating this issue. We are temporarily reducing the API rate limit to 20 requests per hour in order to help address the latency issues we’re seeing.
Lets hope to see a permanent solution to this soon.
I thought my computer/internet was acting crazy at first. Yesterday was one of the worst I’ve see. Glad you posted about it.
Hey Tony, thanks for reading … yeah, definitely an annoying thing that happens to Twitter, more than it should.
I am also twitter lover. I never found twitter down, however when i tried to upload an image for twitter background i got some kind of availability issues. I tried one more time but same error, so i just left whatever the background was.
